ValpoSafe App

Valparaiso University makes the safety of our students, faculty and staff its highest priority, so we’re giving you a new way to feel secure on campus with the ValpoSafe app, available on both Apple and Google Play. This app offers several options for contacting emergency services and reporting potential dangers, including:
- The Panic Button – Instantly shares your location with VUPD while calling dispatch.
- VUPD Walk – Allows officers to monitor your location as you travel from one point to another.
- Friend Walk – Lets you share your location with a friend, enabling them to watch your journey to your destination.
Valpo Safe will work alongside RAVE text message alerts, which will appear at the top of the screen as they are sent out to campus. Severe weather alerts and other emergency notifications will also appear at the top of the screen. In addition to active services, Valpo Safe also includes campus maps, emergency situation guides, support resources, and more.
This app requires no password, login, or special code to access. So long as you or your visitors are on campus, the tools on Valpo Safe are at your fingertips.
