The Martin Schaefer-Hugh McGuigan Award
Jeff Doebler, Ph.D., professor of music and director of music education and bands, is the 2024 recipient of the The Martin Schaefer-Hugh McGuigan Award for his substantial contributions to internationalizing the campus. He received the award in Provost Eric Johnson’s office on Wednesday, May 8th.
Doebler joins the previous recipients of the award, which was initiated in 2009: David Rowland, Zhimin Lin, Renu Juneja, Mark Heckler, Eric Johnson, Moninder “Holly” Singh, Jaishankar Raman, Chuck Schaefer, James Stück, Sarah DeMaris, Mike Avery, and Jianyun Meng.
