The Passing of  Dr. William Eifrig

It saddens me to inform you that Dr. William Eifrige, age 92, professor emeritus of Music, College of Arts and Sciences, passed away on September 29, 2025.

William F. Eifrig (’55) taught in the Department of Music from 1960 to 1988.  During his time at Valpo, he also served terms as department chair and university organist.  

A funeral will be held on Saturday, October 11, at 2:00 p.m. PDT at Dove of Peace Lutheran Church, 665 W Roller Coaster Rd, Tucson, AZ 85704.  

Please remember his wife, Gail, and her family in your prayers as they mourn their loss.
