LINC Summer Reading Group
The Language and Intercultural Learning Center hosts short-term groups for faculty and staff who read and discuss a novel, memoir, or non-fiction work that explores intercultural perspectives. This summer, LINC will facilitate its fourth reading group. Participants will progressively read and meet four or five times over the summer to discuss one of the following texts:
- The Overstory by Richard Powers (fiction)
- Everyone Who is Gone is Here: The United States, Central America, and the Making of a Crisis by Jonathan Blitzer (non-fiction)
- Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland by Patrick Radden Keefe (non-fiction)
The book selection and meeting dates will be determined by those who plan to participate. If you are interested in joining or would like to be added to an upcoming email communication, please email LINC Director Carol Goss, ideally by Wednesday, May 7th.
