Steven Janowiak, Vice President of student life, and Carrie Whittier, assistant Vice President of student life were selected to present a plenary session on leading and managing Fraternity and Sorority Life and its complexities at a national NASPA conference for AVP’s in Student Life on January 27 in Atlanta, GA. Along with Ryan Bye, director of student involvement and new student programs, all were selected to be presenters and facilitator’s at the Sigma Phi Epsilon Carlson Leadership Academy weekend, leading various tracks of leadership development training and mentoring, in Chicago February 2-3.
Stewart Cooper, Senior Research Professor in Psychology, presented a four hour workshop on “Ethics in Consulting Psychology Practice” as well as a lecture in “Making A Difference through the newly formed American Psychological Association Committee for the Advancement of General Applied Psychology.” Both of these presentations took place during the recently held annual conference of the APA Society for Consulting Psychology. The event took place in Austin Texas.
