The College of Business Gallery of Art and Artist Reception

Join the Art and Entertainment Administration Course (MUS 405) as they unveil the College of Business Gallery of Art, meant to inspire students, support student artists, and enrich campus life. This legacy project bridges the College of Business with the College of Arts and Sciences.

Paige Cesnik
Paige Cesnik is a senior nursing major with a minor in art at Valparaiso University. She is from Pendleton, Indiana and works primarily with painting and drawing. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, performing on stage, and creating art. She uses her creativity to express her
emotions, memories, and love for the world and people around her.

Hannah Wright

Hannah Wright is a junior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts at Valparaiso University. She is majoring in Digital Media Arts and minoring in Cinema and Media Studies. She is from Avon, Indiana. When Hannah isn’t using her camera to create pictures, she’s hanging out with friends, dancing, or napping.

Sophia Hoogeveen
Sophia Hoogeveen is a student at Valparaiso University, set to graduate May 2026. Hoogeveen currently works with the University’s IMC organization to further develop her skills in photography and editing. Hoogeveen works to combine her creativity with her professional experiences to pursue a career in photography and media.

Malachi Austensen

Malachi Austensen is a Junior Digital Media Arts student that attends Valparaiso University with a focus on documentary-style photography. His work aims to reveal scenes and stories most people never encounter in everyday life, using images to bring overlooked perspectives, environments, and lived experiences into view.

Jessica Taylor

Jessica Taylor is a freshman pursuing a Bachelors in Communications at Valparaiso University. Taylor is from Kewanna, Indiana and has always been fond of photography, especially landscapes. She has grown her passion in photography by taking CVA 163 in the first semester of her freshman year and plans to continue taking photos and possibly starting a small business selling some of her work.

Reece Fisher
Reece Fischer is a senior Digital Media Arts major at Valparaiso University. They work primarily in digital illustrations in the style of nostalgic cartoonism. They aim to depict the human condition, with an emphasis on emotions, politics, a reflection of the world around them, and a sense of
nostalgia.
