Ofrenda Pozole and Craft Night
Dear Valpo Community,
Please join us as we prepare for the Day of the Dead with our annual Ofrenda celebration. On Monday, October 27th, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in the Helge Center, Multipurpose Room, we’ll come together to create meaningful pieces for the Ofrenda and share a meal.
Enjoy delicious food, including Pozole, Elote dip, Sopapilla cheesecake bars, Flan, Pan de Muerto, and more.
The Ofrenda tradition is rooted in the belief that the spirits of our ancestors serve as spiritual guides. This event is a time for reflection—an opportunity to honor and celebrate how the memory of a loved one continues to guide and shape who you are today. We would love to hear your stories.
Remember, the Ofrenda will be displayed in the Gloria Christi Chapel (Lower level), the Christopher Center (2nd Floor), the Harre Union (Grand Lounge), Wesemann Hall, Mueller Hall, Urschel Hall, and Loke Hall (Brave Space) from October 29 to November 5th. The Chapel will be open until 10:00 pm during this time.

• Framed Photos and Artwork
