Applying Memory Science to the Classroom & Doing Research to See If It Actually Works
In recent years, great strides have been made in understanding human memory. This research suggests specific teaching methods that should increase students’ understanding of course materials. In this FLC, we will generate teaching methods/course designs that incorporate these research findings. Furthermore, participants in this FLC will help each other design classroom research so that those who wish to could submit their findings for publication in teaching journals.
